"As a Health & Wellness Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, there are many myths that I have heard proclaimed. I would like to BUST SOME MYTHS here and help lead you on the path to a healthy physical, emotional and spiritual system."
The myth is that what a child eats doesn't make a difference in their attention span, attitude, energy, focus, health, performance, learning and behavior. The FACT is poor food choices cause the neurotransmitters, which pass along information in the brain, to malfunction. When this happens, the child will have NDD – Nutrition Deficit Disorder which contribute to the list above.
Many people also believe the myth that getting older means their body and mind will break down and there’s nothing they can do about it. They think they will spend their golden years taking prescription drugs and sitting in a doctor’s office. The FACT is, it doesn’t have to be this way.
By making three changes children and adults can have happier, healthier lives. The three changes – Attitude, Nutrition & Exercise. When you have a positive outlook on life, add 20 minutes of exercise 5 days a week and eat nutritious real food, you will see a difference.
