What Is Emotional Clutter?

In the August 2017 Newsletter, I shared with you about your thoughts showing. In this newsletter, I wanted to share with you what emotional clutter is and to keep the newsletter from being so long you might not want to read it all, I’ll share in the next newsletter how to get rid of emotional clutter.

Some of this material I had the privilege of learning during a 40 day Joy Challenge with Tommy Newberry, author of “The 4:8 Principle.” If you haven’t read his book, I highly recommend it.

So, what is emotional clutter? It’s what Tommy Newberry calls, “RATS” – Really Awful Thoughts!

Emotional clutter are negative thoughts, and as a reminder from last month’s newsletter – negative thoughts can be more dangerous than a germ. Here are some words that come to mind when thinking about emotional clutter:

Unforgiving, Negative Feelings, Fatigue, Fear, Frustration, Worry (trusting your fears more than God), Resentment, Jealousy, Anger, Ungrateful, Discouragement, 
Disappointment, Always Sick……….The list can go on and on.

How do those words make you feel? 

When you focus on emotional clutter, it breeds discontent, smothers your joy, keeps you from focusing on God & others, and it transforms your mind into a junk yard!!

Emotional Clutter puts more focus on your challenges and difficulties instead of your blessings. What if ...

Recipes: Gluten Free Banana Bread and No Bake Cookie Balls

Check out these easy, fun recipes that are good for you and will also support you as you continue to eat healthy during the holidays.

Share them with family and friends. They won't believe it's healthy!

And, check out the Cauliflower Stuffing (download) recipe from the last newsletter. It will be great with your turkey instead of high carb dressing/stuffing.

Gluten Free Banana Bread

Ingredients:

4 eggs
3 medium overly ripe bananas, mashed
¼ cup honey (preferably raw, local)
¼ cup coconut or almond milk (unsweetened)
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
2 tsp baking soda
2 ¼ cups almond flour
½ tsp sea salt
½ tsp cinnamon



No Bake Cookie Balls

Ingredients:

2 Scoops JP+ Complete Shake (Chocolate or Vanilla – or your favorite Protein Shake mix)
1 Cup Rolled Oats
½ Cup Honey
½ Cup Nut Butter
